Xueling Chen is a visual artist and photographer working across Europe and China. Rooted in her background as an independent fashion photographer in Shanghai, and then pursuing in MA Fashion Image at Central Saint Martins, London, her practice unfolds at the intersection of personal narrative and spatial inquiry. Through photography, she navigates the porous boundaries between the intimate and the collective, mapping themes of urban nomadism, feminine identity, and the emotional resonance of space. Her images are less about what is seen than what is felt—echoes of interior worlds made visible.
Since 2017, Xueling has been building a visual lexicon rooted in drift, emotional memory, and the quiet intimacy shared among contemporary urban youth. With the glare of direct flash, hyper-saturated hues, and the soft static of simulated film grain, she conjures dreamlike emotional landscapes—half-reality, half-reverie. Notably, in most of her early art projects, she predominantly employs “non-professional” equipment such as CCD cameras to create a tactile visual language that blurs the boundaries between digital and analogue, surface and sensation. Her multidisciplinary practice spans photography, digital art, installation, and electronic music, adopting pluralistic perspectives to craft fluid visual narratives.
She has held a solo exhibition at Yell Space in Shanghai, won the 2022 PIP China Photography Promotion Program Kunpeng Award, and was shortlisted in the 10 finalists for the 41st Hyères International Festival in 2026, with her work to be exhibited at Villa Noailles. In 2025, invited by the Associate Editor of AnOther, she participated in the London art exhibition Rethinking Fashion Image. In 2026, her work was featured in PhotoVogue’s East and Southeast Asian Panorama exhibition in Milan, and her photobook Exception Holiday was published by London-based New Dimension.

陈雪玲是一位活跃于欧洲与中国之间的视觉艺术家、摄影师。她曾作为独立时尚摄影师在上海生活和工作，之后在伦敦中央圣马丁 MA Fashion Image 进修。她的作品来自于她不同阶段的生命体验，游走于私密与公共之间，以影像叙事探讨城市游牧、女性身份与空间情绪之间的复杂关系。
自2017年起，她以自我体验与数字图像为媒介，展开一系列关于漂泊、情感记忆与当代都市年轻人亲密关系的创作。她擅长通过直闪，高饱和色调和模拟胶片质感建构情绪场域. 在她早期的大部分艺术项目中，她几乎只用ccd等非专业设备进行拍摄，创作介于数码和胶片之间的图像语言。她的艺术实践横跨摄影，数字艺术，装置与电子音乐，以多元化的视角构建“流动”的视觉叙事。
她曾于上海 Yell Space 举办个展，曾获 2022 PIP 中国摄影推广计划鲲鹏奖，入选 2026 年第 41 届法国耶尔国际摄影节 10 强并将展览于Villa Noailles。2025 年受 AnOther 副主编邀请参展伦敦艺术展《Rethinking Fashion Image》；2026 年作品参展米兰 PhotoVogue 东亚与东南亚全景展，同年由伦敦 New Dimension 出版个人摄影集《Exception Holiday》。
作品曾亮相于 Photo London、Offprint London、PhotoVogue Festival、米兰布雷拉国家图书馆、上海世博展览馆、北京三影堂摄影艺术中心及苏州虹美术馆等；并被 PhotoVogue、Dazed、AnOther、Wallpaper*、SHOWstudio、One Granary、British Journal of Photography、Marie Claire、《谷雨实验室》《孤独图书馆》及《假杂志》等媒体报道与刊载。个人摄影集《City Blue》已被北京三影堂、香港 Devedo、 上海MABI公司、伦敦New Dimension等机构收藏与代理销售，呈现于伦敦、巴黎、柏林、东京、香港、北京、成都、广州、上海等地的艺术空间与艺术市集。
